Alrighty. I have a new version. At the moment that's the one i will chase in the concert. Take7 is much shorter, more intense, yet softer. The composition pieces are clearer. The intro scene is now set to properly fade away.

I have done so many takes but they all start feeling the same. I'm sparing some time to contemplate on what i can do next. I need more samples in action. I am thinking to open the scene with the airport sample. it should make the audience as well as myself more comfortable...

Overall, i might use some voice in the performance, too. but just not sure as to how to use them, what samples, and when in the act. We'll see!

Lauras Fairytale take 2

Good news have come my way. I was given a permission to perform lauras fairytale live at this years yahamas school concert (yahama school concert (2008). The concert is on 31/5.

In take 2 i have changed the structure slightly. Changed the kickdrum to a massive house kick, i also added some more percusion as well as reverse cymbals... Need to work more on the keyboard performance though.

Liveset Lauras fairytale

All is performed on live 7, using a couple of midi controllers. As i am digging deeper and deeper into live's live setup i find more ways to map more different instruments to a single instrument group, to play them creatively on a single keyboard.

MIDI Sync over IP

Yes. If you do not have any way of syncing your daw's (e.g. midi interface) try the midi sync over the internet. There's this little software called ipmidi you need to download. Mac version is also available. You can test drive it free with some restriction:
